A Report on World Heritage Day Celebration
India is blessed with a rich culture and heritage. The richness and variety of Indian culture needs to be preserved. It is heartening to see the Principal, Ms. Nisha Paryani, focusing on the holistic development of pupils, equipping them to survive in a forever changing world. To protect and preserve India’s heritage, several activities were conducted including Poster making competition and Elocution competition.
On April 13, 2022 (Wednesday) P.P.SAVANI CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL organized an Inter Class Softboard Decoration Competition on the topic ’Save Heritage’ to commemorate World Heritage Day (April 13, 2022).
In the competition, the budding artists of the school showed their tremendous talent and canvassed their imagination and thoughts with colors. The competition was conducted for the primary and senior wing of the school. All the students were very talented and portrayed the theme on softboards.
The students participated enthusiastically and prepared wonderful posters showcasing their concern and raising their voice to preserve our heritage including monuments, plants and animals. Students of Grade I and II celebrated World Heritage Day by participating in Elocution competition on Heritage sites of India, wherein they learnt about the need of preserving heritage sites and were made aware of new facts about the heritage sites in India.
