Report on Teacher’s Training

“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.” – Albert Einstein

Teacher training helps teachers in the art of expressing themselves. Regular training and feedback keep teachers' current knowledge in pedagogical trends and reinforce what works. Training for teachers is also important for them to have effective teaching and class management skills.

Teacher learning or training is a continuous never-ending process which promotes teacher’s teaching skills, master novel knowledge; develop better or newer proficiency, which in return assists in improving student’s learning. Research and some studies have shown when teachers are good at class management students show much more interest in the classes and have better education outcomes compared to the situation when the teacher is not so good at classroom management.

To fulfil this motto, a session on teacher’s training was conducted on 22nd and 23rd March 2022.

Session began with a warm up activity by the principal. Teachers were divided in four groups and an activity was conducted on the topic listen and follow the instructions. The teachers followed the instructions given by Ms. Nisha ma’am, which were “jump in, jump out, turn right, turn left, etc. Through this activity, teachers were trained how to use these warm up activities for the kids, and how to make kids learn how to follow the instructions.

Next activity was to draw a chart of your dream class and mention the things and design you would like to give to your dream class. The teachers were divided in eight groups with three members in each group. They were provided with charts, crayons, pencil, eraser and sharpener. The teachers then used their creativity to design their dream class. Then each group explained about the setup of their new class.

On 23rd March “Zumba Dance” Activity was conducted for all the teachers. Mr. Irfan Pathan conducted this activity. He taught the steps for the dance and later performed this activity on music. The motto of this activity was to make the teachers more energetic and take care of their fitness.
