The school celebrated International Yoga Day on 23rd June 2025, as 21st June was a Sunday. The session was held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with full enthusiasm and participation from all students, to promote health, focus, and inner peace among them.
The program began with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, creating a calm and spiritual atmosphere. Students then participated enthusiastically in the session, led by our skilled yoga instructors, Ms. Heena Rangoonwala and Ms. Mishri Chalakwala.
Students practiced various yoga asanas, among them were:
- Tadasana (Mountain pose): helps improve postures and balances.
- Tree Pose (Vrikshasana): Helps improve balance and strengthens the legs.
- Ardha Matsyendrasana (Half Spinal Twist): Enhances spinal flexibility and digestion.
- Parivrtta Trikonasana (Revolved Triangle Pose): Strengthens the legs and stretches the spine.
- Camel Pose (Ustrasana): Opens the chest and improves posture.
- Shavasana- Final relaxation and stress relief.
The session concluded with a peaceful meditation. Our respected Principal, Ms. Anjali Panday, addressed the students and appreciated the instructors for their dedication.
As a token of appreciation, mementos were presented to the trainers by the Principal and Coordinator, Ms. Roopa Sreedhar. The event successfully promoted physical wellness and mindfulness among students, showcasing the school’s commitment to overall development.
