Teachers’ Day Celebration Report

Teachers Day was celebrated with a lot of exuberance and enthusiasm at P P Savani Cambridge International School on 5th September along with the whole country.

The daylong celebration started in the big auditorium with a short speech by the anchor paying rich tributes to the great educationist and former president of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishanan. After that, the teachers were felicitated on the stage with a rose and a gift by the members of the student council against the backdrop of a slide show enumerating the achievements of each teacher in their career. What followed was the highlight of the cultural event: an amusing dance show by the senior students impersonating as teachers which left everyone in fits of laughter. The school trivia that followed in which teachers participated in groups provided some lighter moments strengthening the sweet and sacred relationship between the teachers and students further.

After the cultural event got over, the students and everyone headed to the cricket ground for a T-ten match between students and teachers which the students won hands down amidst the deafening noise from the spectators. Finally, the impressive festivities came to an end with the senior teachers cutting a cake made for the occasion in the presence of the staff members and the student council.
