P.P. Savani Cambridge International School (PPSCIS) conducted the Parents’ Orientation program on 6th April, 2024 for the academic year of 2024-25. The session was taken by Ms. Helloise Paul. The program gave an introduction of our management and staff, overview of Cambridge curriculum, assessments plans, celebrations and activities over the year along with the kick off of new courses and clubs. The aim of the program was to provide transparency to the parents and to allow them to make an informed decision for their wards.
The program proudly shared the successful execution of the Cambridge program for 17 years while addressing the Cambridge curriculum which is known for its rigor, flexibility and emphasis on critical thinking skills to thrive in the globalised world. It also covered various stages of Cambridge education, starting from primary to secondary education, culminating in the AS and A levels and allowing them to tailor their education as per their interests and career aspirations. Since, it is a globally recognized and accepted curriculum, it focussed on the placement opportunities as well in over 100 countries, including USA, UK, Singapore and Australia.
The program emphasised on five pillars: the Right Approach, Right Curriculum, Right Faculty, Right Environment, and Right Skills, ensuring that every aspect of your child’s education is carefully curated for their success. It highlighted on the assessment plan as well, giving a comprehensive evaluation through Formative exams along with integrated learning, peer learning, differential learning, vocational courses, internship programs and case studies. Apart from the academia, it also showed significance of various celebrations, competitions, and activities to foster a vibrant and inclusive school community.
Last but not the least, it introduced new initiatives taken by PPSCIS, starting from this year, which includes the Young Learner’s English program, Global Perspectives, English club, Science club, and the Wellspire program, aimed at further enriching students’ academic and personal development.
