REPORT ON ELOCUTION COMPETITION
The elocution competition at PPSCIS, held on 23rd July 2024, showcased the oratory talents of students divided into two categories: Group 1 (Grades VI to VIII) and Group 2 (Grades IX to XI). The participants were given topics on the spot, with two minutes to prepare and two minutes to deliver their speeches.
Group 1: Grades VI to VIII
The junior group displayed remarkable eloquence and confidence, with Vedanshi from Grade VIII standing out as the star performer. Her stage presence was exceptional, and she spoke fluently and confidently, captivating the audience. Dev Kathiriya of Grade VI also delivered an impressive speech, demonstrating maturity beyond his years.
Group 2: Grades IX to XI
In the senior group, Dhanishta of Grade IX dominated the stage with a fiery and passionate speech. Her powerful delivery left a strong impression on both the audience and the judges. Despite the fierce competition, the seniors showcased their best efforts, handling a range of challenging topics with poise and determination.
Judging and Conclusion
The judges, Mr. Shaju TA and Mr. Kunal Raval, faced a tough task in selecting the winners due to the high calibre of performances from all participants. Ultimately, the junior group outshone the seniors, with Vedanshi and Dev Kathiriya being the highlights of the event.
