P.P. Savani Cambridge International School organized an exciting and educational field trip to Sarthana Zoo for the Pre-Primary section. A total of 56 students, accompanied by 5 teachers and 2 maids, participated in the trip. The journey to the zoo was made by bus, and the children were filled with joy and excitement.
Upon arrival at the zoo, the students attended a short session conducted by SMC officials. The session focused on important topics like health and hygiene, and the need to use cloth bags instead of plastic bags, promoting environmental awareness from a young age. They emphasized the importance of regular hand washing, staying clean, and maintaining good personal hygiene. They also encouraged students and staff to use cloth bags instead of plastic bags to protect the environment and reduce pollution.
As the group entered the zoo, they were thrilled to witness a beautiful peacock walking freely on the road. The students were overjoyed to see the peacock so closely, outside the cage, which made the moment even more special and memorable.
The children were thrilled to see a wide variety of animals including lions, tigers, dears, hyenas ,elephants, zebras, bears monkeys, and various birds like swans,ducks,peacock, ostrich and many more. Teachers explained interesting facts about the animals, making the visit both fun and informative. The students also enjoyed a snack break in the zoo garden, followed by a group photo to capture the memorable outing.
As we explored the zoo, the children observed a variety of animals, noting their colors, appearances, and eating habits. This hands-on experience helped them understand the classification of animals into carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores, based on their dietary patterns.
The trip was both fun-filled and informative. The students enjoyed the visit thoroughly, and the trip helped enhance their curiosity and knowledge about wildlife. Safety and hygiene were given top priority throughout the journey, and everything went smoothly.
It was a memorable day for the little learners, combining learning with fun in the best possible way. The zoo trip was a memorable and enriching experience for the little learners.
