Report on Aquarium Visit
“Making friends with the ocean’s finest!”
On 5th July 2024, the pre-primary students of P.P. Savani Cambridge International School embarked on an exciting educational trip to the Jagdish Chandra Bose Municipal Aquarium, Surat. This visit aimed to introduce the young minds to the wonders of marine life in an enjoyable and engaging manner. The day began with enthusiastic chatter as the children arrived at the aquarium. They were greeted by colorful displays and fascinating aquatic creatures that immediately caught their attention. Each exhibit was thoughtfully designed to captivate the imagination of our young learners.
The visit provided a valuable learning experience beyond the classroom. The children learned about different habitats, the importance of marine conservation, and the diversity of underwater life. The students observed sharks, gold fish, man-eater piranhas and stingrays amongst many other varieties of fishes up close; they gained a deeper understanding of our oceans and the creatures that inhabit them.
In conclusion, the aquarium visit was a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on our pre-primary students. It not only broadened their knowledge but also fostered a sense of wonder and appreciation for the natural world. Such experiential learning opportunities are invaluable in shaping young minds and encouraging a lifelong curiosity about our planet’s biodiversity.
