The PPSCIS annual school election campaign and voting for the students’ council were held with great enthusiasm under the leadership and guidance of our Principal, Ms. Anjali Varma and Primary head, Ms. Roopa Sridhar Narayan. The event aimed at fostering democratic values and leadership skills among students.
The election campaign was conducted on 2nd July 2025, a day prior to the voting day. Students nominated for various posts, such as Head Boy, Head Girl, Vice-head boy, Vice-head girl, Sports captain, and Cultural captain presented their speeches during morning assembly promising better student activities, increased participation and a more inclusive environment. The school’s assembly area was buzzing with excitement as candidates campaigned vigorously.
On the day of voting, i.e. 3rd July 2025, the school set up a proper polling booth managed by student volunteers under the guidance of teachers. Ballot papers were issued to students of grades six to twelve and teachers. The voters exercised their right to vote in an organized and disciplined manner. The entire process mirrored real-life elections, instilling in students the importance of civic responsibility and ethical conduct.
The results of the students’ council election were officially announced by our respected Principal, Ms. Anjali Varma on 4th July 2025. The newly elected council members were congratulated with huge round of applause by all the teachers and students and will be taking an oath to perform their duties with sincerity and dedication during ‘Investiture ceremony’ to be held on 12th July 2025.

The election campaign and voting process were a grand success, offering students a valuable lesson in democracy, teamwork, and leadership.
