Pre-Primary: Matki Phod
Our youngest students in the pre-primary section participated in a delightful Matki Phod activity. The children, dressed in colorful traditional attire, were full of enthusiasm as they took turns trying to break the decorated clay pots. This event was not a competition but a funfilled and a playful setting. Their infectious energy and pure joy made this a highlight of the day.
Primary: Radha-Krishna Dress-Up Competition
The primary grades I to V hosted a Radha-Krishna dress-up competition class wise. Students came dressed in beautifully crafted costumes, embodying the roles of Lord Krishna and Radha. The effort and creativity put into their outfits by them and the efforts from parents were remarkable, with each class having tough competition for the titles of Best Radha and Best Kanha. Ms. Mohini and Ms. Jinal Judged the competition. The judging was based on Costume Asthetics and Visual Appeal. The event fostered a sense of healthy competition and encouraged students to present themselves creatively.
Secondary: Matki Phod
The celebration concluded with a high-spirited Matki Phod activity for our secondary students post Lunch. The Boys and Girls of secondary section made separate teams. The students formed human pyramids to reach and break the pot, demonstrating impressive teamwork, strategy, and physical coordination. The celebration was fierce but friendly, with the students cheering each other’s team.
Overall, the Janmashtami celebration was a resounding success, bringing the entire school community together in a spirit of joy and festivity. It was a day filled with cultural learning, creative expression, and teamwork, and it left a lasting positive impression on everyone involved.
