On March 8, 2025, students from Grades V to IX, accompanied by teachers Mr. Thakre, Ms. Helloise, and Ms. Renu, visited Mahajan Anath Ashram as part of a charitable initiative. This visit was the result of a fundraising effort by students from Grades 1 to 12, who collected donations from their neighbors to support the orphanage.
The funds collected were used to purchase essential groceries, including dal, rice, flour, biscuits, and other eatables. These items were donated to the orphanage, which houses around 150 children and ensures their education with the support of its trustees
During the visit, the students interacted with the children, learning about their daily lives and the efforts taken by the orphanage to provide them with a safe and nurturing environment. The experience was both enlightening and inspiring, fostering a sense of empathy and social responsibility among the students.
This initiative not only provided much-needed support to the orphanage but also encouraged students to contribute towards the well-being of the underprivileged. The visit left a lasting impression on everyone involved, reinforcing the values of kindness and community service.
