Picnic to ChokiDhani

The students of Nursery to Grade II of P.P. Savani Cambridge International School was taken for a one day picnic to Chokhi Dhani on 21st October, 2023.
Chokhi Dhani, proved to be an extraordinary destination that beautifully encapsulates the essence of Rajasthani culture and heritage. It left an indelible mark on their hearts as little tiny tots immersed themselves in a day filled with captivating activities, delectable cuisine, and the warm hospitality of this picturesque village.
The children had a blast on the toy train, horse cart and camel cart rides, which allowed them to explore the village’s rustic charm in style. They enjoyed the mesmerizing magic show, a puppetry performance that showcased the rich cultural traditions of Rajasthan. The clever monkey performance had everyone in splits, and the Kalbelia folk dance transported us to a world of vibrant Rajasthani rhythms. The presence of cartoon characters and DJ music added an element of fun and entertainment to the day. The jumping castle was a hit with the kids. The opportunity to try our hands at pottery added an Interactive element to the cultural experience.
One of the highlights of the day was undoubtedly the food. Students were treated to a sumptuous breakfast, a delectable Rajasthani lunch, and a refreshing welcome drink. The flavors and aromas of authentic Rajasthani cuisine left us craving for more. The evening snack was a delightful surprise providing a perfect end to our culinary journey.
The picnic to Chokhi Dhani was a journey through the rich tapestry of Rajasthani culture and hospitality. From the vibrant cultural performances to the mouthwatering cuisine, and the warm welcome, this day will forever be etched in students’ memories.
