P.P. Savani Cambridge International School had organized “Recycle Day Activity” on 18th October, Wednesday with an objective to reduce the burden of the environment and to create new materials from the waste material, which can be used accordingly.
Recycling saves the earth by facilitating the reprocess of paper which will save millions of trees. In addition, recycling reduces the amount of waste that takes years to decompose. Also, the recycled material can be sold. We use this recycled material for the manufacturing of many new products.
Tiny tots of Nursery made pencil holders from the waste plastic bottles and students of Jr.kg & Sr.kg made bird feeders and piggy bank respectively from the plastic jar. By doing such hands on activity students learnt that recycling helps us conserve these materials, save energy, cut down on pollution, and ultimately make the future more sustainable.
