REPORT ON THE YOGA DAY OF AY 2026-27
The school celebrated International Yoga Day on 22nd June 2026 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and teachers. The session was organised to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, discipline, and inner peace among the participants.
The yoga session was conducted by the yoga trainer, Ms. Kirti Anajwala. Students from Grade 1 to 12, along with teachers, participated wholeheartedly in the celebration. The instructor demonstrated several important yoga poses and explained their multiple health benefits, such as improving flexibility, strength, posture, breathing, and overall wellness.
Ms. Kirti Anajwala also demonstrated the practice of Bhramari Pranayam and explained its importance in increasing concentration power, reducing stress, and calming the mind. This was especially beneficial for students, as improved concentration plays an important role in effective learning and academic growth.
All the students actively practiced the yoga poses and pranayam under the guidance of the trainer. Their enthusiasm, discipline, and keen involvement made the session highly successful and meaningful. The celebration helped create awareness about the importance of yoga in daily life and encouraged everyone to adopt healthy habits for a balanced lifestyle.
