REPORT ON KISNA BIRD SANCTUARY
Our P.P.Savani Cambridge International School had organised a wonderful educational visit for Pre-Primary students to Kisna Bird Sanctuary (Nature Park), on 18th August (Tuesday)where 63 students were accompanied by 4 teachers and 2 staff members. The students travelled to the Nature Park by bus and enjoyed an exciting day surrounded by nature and wildlife.
The visit offered students an opportunity to experience the beauty of nature beyond the classroom. They saw many colourful and beautiful birds along with different animals. One of the most fascinating moments was watching the birds hold almonds carefully in their beaks and eat them. The students were amazed to observe their movements and feeding habits so closely.
The children also got the opportunity to gently touch and observe a Persian cat and an iguana, which made the experience even more memorable. They explored the beautiful surroundings of the Nature Park and enjoyed its peaceful, green, and refreshing atmosphere. The lush greenery, natural environment, colourful birds, variety of animals, and the beautiful waterfall made the visit truly delightful.
The visit helped children to develop love and respect for nature animals, Understand the importance of wildlife conservation, Observe animals and birds closely and learn through real-life experiences, develop curiosity, observation and questioning skills, learn to be gentle and caring towards living beings and also understand the importance of keeping our surroundings clean and pollution-free.
The visit to Kisna Bird Sanctuary was a joyful, enriching and unforgettable experience for our students. Their excitement, curiosity and smiles throughout the trip reflected how much they enjoyed learning in the lap of nature. It was a beautiful blend of fun, exploration, learning and wonderful memories. The students returned to school happily, carrying with them new experiences, greater appreciation for nature and many beautiful memories to cherish.
