P. P. Savani Cambridge International School auditorium resonated with reverence, gratitude, and joy as the senior class students organized a heartfelt celebration to mark the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. Attended by the entire school community—from Grades I through XII—the event served as a beautiful tribute to the irreplaceable role teachers play in shaping young minds and guiding them toward light and wisdom.
The cultural program began with a series of captivating short skits performed by the senior students, centered around the traditional theme of Guru-Shishya Parampara. Through thoughtful narratives and impressive acting, the students portrayed classic and modern stories highlighting respect, devotion, and the eternal bond between a mentor and disciple. Following the performances, the seniors expressed their gratitude through a traditional felicitation ceremony: each teacher was honored with aarti, a sacred tilak, a sweet treat, and chocolates,
creating a deeply touching atmosphere of mutual affection and respect.
To conclude the celebration on a lively note, the senior class hosted an engaging interactive game titled “Identify the Teacher.” Childhood photographs of the faculty were displayed on screen, challenging students from all grades to guess the names of their teachers. The venue echoed with laughter, cheers, and excitement as students across Grades I to XII eagerly participated. The event ended on a high note, leaving everyone with fond memories and a renewed appreciation for the sacred bond between teachers and students.
