REPORT ON INTER-HOUSE SHOT PUT COMPETITION

The Inter-House Shot Put Competition was conducted successfully on 4 August 2026 at P P Savani Cambridge International School. Students from Grades VI to XII participated enthusiastically, representing their respective houses. The event was organised to provide students with a platform to demonstrate their strength, technique, concentration, determination and sporting spirit.
The competition was conducted across five age categories for boys and girls. The participants displayed commendable effort and competitive spirit throughout the event. The presence of their house teams and peers added to the excitement and encouraged students to perform to the best of their abilities.

Highlights of the Competition. Hope House secured both the first and second positions in the Grades VI–VII Boys category, while Millennium House achieved the same distinction in Grades VIII–IX Boys. Kohinoor House emerged victorious in the Grades X–XII Boys and Grades VI–VIII Girls categories. Sancy House secured the top position in the Grades IX–XII Girls category. Millennium House also demonstrated consistent performance across several categories.
The event was conducted in a disciplined, safe and encouraging atmosphere. It provided students with valuable opportunities to develop physical fitness, perseverance, confidence and a sense of healthy competition. The participation of students from different grades also promoted teamwork and house spirit.
Conclusion. The Shot Put Competition concluded successfully with spirited participation and commendable performances from all the students. The event reflected the school’s commitment to holistic education by encouraging students to balance academic learning with physical development and co-curricular activities. The efforts of the participants, teachers and house teams contributed significantly to the success of the competition.
